Cumbria County Councll “Listening to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender People” Survey Results

National research has been carried out to gain an understanding of the issues lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGB&T) people face when accessing services and it has identified that people face discrimination when accessing services.


Navajo Training The Trainers - Understanding Sexuality - Spring 2012

The 20th course will be held over three months in Spring 2012. To ensure a place on the course please complete the attached form as soon as possible. Please be aware that places are filled very quickly and limited to sixteen. To take part you must have some training and/ or group work experience or be able to influence organisational change within your own organisation or group.

This event has now been held

 ‘Trans Lakes Nights’ meeting starts at 7.00pm and is on Tuesday 6 December 2011.  There will be some liquid refreshments. However the premises have a licence and you are allowed to bring in and consume your own alcohol

 


Stonewall “Speakout” Survey for 11 to 19 year old LGBT Young People

Five years on from Stonewall’s ground-breaking researchThe School Reportwe’re once again calling on lesbian, gay and bisexual young people to tell us what life’s like for them in Britain’s schools today. Young people aged 11 to 19 can take part in the survey. Email us at info@stonewall.org.uk  for posters to help promote the survey.
