IDAHO WEEK:

at CADAS, 52 Paradise St, Barrow in Furness, LA14 1JG

Monday 13 May:  Flags, posters, balloons, etc go up

Tuesday 14 May:   Short films & presentation, vigil & lighting of candle & possible release of Chinese lantern to honour those we have lost to hate crimes. We will also mark our 3rd year of fighting homophobia on this evening.  We have enquired about the use of the Albion Hotel for an IDAHO Day gig and to display flags, posters and display board.

Thursday 16 May:  there are some local 'trans' within our community who would like to have short walks in Cumbria and possibly finish with a coffee or drink in a pub at lunchtime. If you are interested drop me an email and we can see whether we can make arrangements for like minded people to meet. Our next walk is planned for 16 May 2013 between 11am and 1pm somewhere in south Cumbria area. Walking to be easy and flatish of the order of 3 or 4 miles. Anybody who would like to take this aspect forward as either lead or as member please let me know. Email: trans.lakes.nights@googlemail.com for further details.

Friday 17 May:  Daytime LGBT open day, stall and display, feel free to pop in and ask questions.

Feel free to drop in to CADAS during office hours from Monday to Friday, looking forward to seeing you.
