Trans Bare All ~ Relationships Retreat

We are proud to announce our next retreat, from the 1st – 3rd March in the beautiful Peak District National Park. We will be focussing on relationships, and many of the issues relevant to trans people such as how they form, what issues come up, disclosure and so on.
Who can come?
This retreat is open to trans men and partners and solo trans men are welcome too. We wanted to open this trans masculine TBA retreat up so that trans men were able to share the space with their partners, to have the opportunity to share their stories and learn from each other. Our partners share our experiences and lives and have much to bring to TBA and to other people there. This retreat is also open to single trans men who want to come and explore issues around relationships in a space where lots of different experiences can be shared.
Although we recognise and value a variety of different relationships, due to space constraints we have to limit participants to bringing one partner only.
What sort of topics will be covered?
We aim to explore the following areas:
- sexuality and identity, things that affect it in relationships
- starting relationships/disclosure
- specific issues for partners, and for trans people both as separate groups and together
Who will facilitate it?
For this retreat we will be joined by Maeve Regan as a guest facilitator. She is heavily involved in trans activism, having co-authored the trans mental health study and written articles on trans regret. Her partner is also trans and she has been working with a networking group for trans partners and allies.
How much will it cost?
As with all of our events we try to keep costs as low as possible. We have 3 price bands and it is up to you which one you feel you would fit in to:
- Lower rate £40
- Middle rate £65
- Higher rate £90
