The Sparkle Weekend
Welcome to Sparkle the National Transgender Celebration - a weekend festival held every July, in the Village area of Manchester. Sparkle is open to everyone who sees themselves as Transgender (and their friends and families) no matter if they be living full-time or just ‘dressing up’ for an occasional Saturday night out. We accept the differing aspirations and needs of the various people within our community, but invite all to come together and share our celebration. Every TG person has a place at Sparkle and a warm welcome is on offer to all!
Sparkle does cater for our female to male and drag king friends and this year we are making a special effort to be more inclusive by giving over a special segment of the Sparkle in the Park stage show to this side of the community.
