GETTING OUR MESSAGE OUT EVENT–Manchester

Learning & networking around how to communicate messages

& campaign to effect change

20 July, 11-3.30

The consortium of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgendered voluntary and community organisations are hosting a special event in Manchester for LGBT groups, projects or organisations to encourage learning and networking around how to communicate messages and campaign to effect change.

Among the Workshops at the event:

  • The LGBT Consortium will be focusing on using Social Media in a strategic way to promote work, communicate with service users, attract funders and campaign.
  • The Lesbian & Gay Foundation  will be discussing  projects that we are encouraging people to get involved with.
  • The Parliamentary Outreach Team will be exploring the workings of UK democracy and how to effectively engage and influence change.

Whilst this event is open to both Members of The LGBT Consortium and non-member groups, priority booking will be given to our Members as there are only 25 spaces available for this event.
