Free Heartstart training at Barrow Fire Station
This 2 hour sessions could give you the skills to try and save another person's life. The course deals with:
- general care of a casualty including the procedure for obtaining help
- dealing with an unconscious casualty
- giving rescue breaths
- performing CPR
- dealing with choking
- dealing with serious bleeding
- dealing with a suspected heart attack casualty
- familiarisation of a defibrillator
Dates available for training are:
- Tuesday 7th May 2-4pm
- Monday 13th May 10am-12
- Wednesday 15th May 10am-12
- Sunday 19th May 2-4pm
- Friday 24th May 2-4pm
