Alzheimers Society Dementia Carers
Information & Support Programme in Cumbria
As part of the Cumbria Dementia Strategy, Alzheimer’s Society is being supported through the NHS North West Regional Innovation Fund to respond to the needs of Carers of people with dementia. To that end, Alzheimer’s Society will be delivering a series of Carers Information and Support Programmes, (CrISP), in 2013, to help support Carers in Cumbria.
A programme of 4 2-hour sessions, to be held on consecutive weekly dates, is planned for delivery across each of the 6 localities throughout 2013. Each of the sessions is open to up to 16 Carers of people with dementia and will be led by a specialist trainer from Alzheimer’s Society.
