Cumbria Pride is organising a Coach Trip that will transport people for a night out to Newcastle upon Tyne, (in part to help raise money for Cumbria Pride).
The Coach will pick people up at the old Lonsdale Cinema on Warwick Road, Carlisle at 7.30pm, and will leave Newcastle upon Tyne at 2.30am to return to Carlisle. (The Coach company has owners that belong to the LGBT community).
Coach Tickets cost £10 each and can be purchased from:
Sticky Bits Cafe, 6-8 Fisher Street, Carlisle, CA3 8RN,
01228 267247, stickybitscafe@hotmail.co.uk
until 15 March (so that Cumbria Pride can confirm numbers attending).
People going on the trip will be members of, or sympathetic to the LGBT community, (quite a lot of the Cumbria Pride committee, and their friends & partners will be going), and there is the opportunity to stay with the main group of the Coach Trip, who will be taking a tour of Newcastle's LGBT clubs and bars, or to find your own way around Newcastle nightlife (whichever you choose).
You can also choose to stay over in Newcastle, (which means you will need to find your own transport home), or take the coach home with the main group at 2.30am.
It is an opportunity to take a trip around Newcastle's LGBT nightspots, make new friends, and raise money for Cumbria Pride at the same time.
