Black History Month!

Translate

It's October!

Which means it is time to celebrate Black History Month!

This platform has been used in the UK since 1987 to remind the world about the often-neglected history made by amazing women and men who struggled to overcome structural racism, fought for human rights and contributed to the betterment and safety of this country.

Celebrating black excellence, learning about the fundamental contributions to society, economy and welfare, reading books and watching films and TV shows or listening to podcasts, proves that black history is not only oppression and struggle, but also the overcoming of it, successes and achievements, enrichment and positive change from which we all benefit.
