House of Lords Select Committee Survey

for 11 to 25 year olds

on HIV and AIDS in the United Kingdom

Please ask parental permission if under 16

The House of Lords have set up a Select Committee on HIV and AIDS in the United Kingdom.

A Select Committee is a way of getting parliament to look into a particular issue. One of the things the committee is investigating is if education about HIV and AIDS is good enough and to get suggestions on how to improve it.

The Sex Education Forum is running this survey because we want the views of young people about education about HIV and AIDS to be known by the Select Committee before they finish their report in the summer.

This short survey is about your experience of learning about sex and relationships at secondary school and whether this included HIV and AIDS.

We are not asking for your name or any other personal details, except your age, school type and school year.

You can take the full survey if you are aged 11-25.

If you are under 16 years old please discuss the survey with a parent or carer and only take the survey if they are happy for you to do so.

There are 10 questions - it should take about 5 minutes to finish. We really hope you will take part so we know your views.

Please follow the link if you are ready to start the questions!
