Cumbria Multi-agency Tackling Hate Crime Strategy and Action Plan 2013-15

The members of Safer Cumbria, Community Safety PartnershipsCrown Prosecution Service, Cumbria Constabulary, other Criminal Justice System (SJS) partners' organisation, Community and Voluntary Sector Organisations, Sellafield Ltd and leading equality and social justice organisations AWAZ Cumbria, OutREACH Cumbria and Cumbria disability network in partnership with Cumbria County Council's Safer Communities Department held a joint workshop on 18th April 2013 in Carlisle to consider AWAZ Cumbria Policy advice and proposed action to tackle hate crime in Cumbria.

Over twenty representatives and senior officers from Public, Private and Voluntary and Community Sector pledged their support and contribution in the delivery of the Cumbria Multi-agency Tackling Hate Crime Strategy and action plan 2013-15 and recommended to the Safer Cumbria for formal adoption of this plan.
