Carlisle One World Centre, Churches Together in Carlisle and Sustainable Carlisle will be co-hosting a Carlisle constituency hustings on Thursday 16th April at the University of Cumbria’s Learning Gateway, Fusehill St, from 7.00pm.
All Carlisle candidates are expected to attend and members of the public are asked to submit questions by 8th April to david.pitkeathly@btinternet.com on topics such as poverty, inequality, the environment and global justice issues.
The evening will be chaired by Susan Aglionby of The Croft Farm, Houghton and it should be a lively and participative debate. All are welcome to attend - just come along on the night.
